The Town and CLDC would like to provide a forum for your questions and comments related to the proposed hotel on the former Frink America site.  These questions and comments will be compiled and we hope to address each of them at our next upcoming Public Meeting at the Clayton Opera House

Since its incorporation in 2003, the CLDC has worked to improve the community of Clayton.  The CLDC’s initial focus was to guide the assessment and cleanup of the Frink property.  That assessment & cleanup has been completed, now the CLDC is working closely with the Town of Clayton and Village of Clayton to move towards developing the property.

The CLDC has worked with the Town of Clayton on the completion of the first phase of the Clayton Riverwalk.  This first phase is located on a public easement along the shore of the Frink property.  Please check our Projects page for more information and photos of the Riverwalk.

In addition to the Frink Property, the CLDC is looking to expand its’ focus, to include the entire business district.
